Wildlife filmmaker Manolo Mendieta aims to highlight themes of conservation and natural history behavior through pristine aesthetics and compelling narratives. With more than a decade into his professional career and having filmed from Antarctica to the Arctic Manolo specializes in marine-based productions.


Some of his most notable credits include BBC's Bafta award-winning series Big Blue Live, Wild West: ‘America’s great frontier’ and National Geographic’s: Mexico Untamed. As a producer and director his conservationist short documentary ‘Cabo Pulmo’ earned him multiple awards and has been screened in film festivals across the world.

Frequently working at sea and holding a PADI Master Diver certification and FAA drone license, Manolo thrives at specialized image capture techniques both at the surface and underwater. While developing his upcoming Natural History and adventure series, Manolo continues to collaborate as a Producer, Director, and Cinematographer for global broadcasters, selected commercial clients and mission-driven organizations.
